‘Cleverness, after all, has its limitations. It’s mechanical judgements and clever remarks tend to prove inaccurate with passing time, because it doesn’t look very deeply into things to begin with’
- The Tao of Pooh
In the afterthought of asking why i am here.
In silence and in solitude,
In patience and perseverance,
In shut windows and locked gates,
With cell phones off and minds erased,
After mentoring a younger friend,
After listening to an older, wiser companion, or searching for the signs (I am listening)
While learning with eyes wide closed
Looking on the outside of a circle that never ends,
Out of respect and kindness in my heart,
Pinpointing truth in every second,
Taking everything in excess,
Giving so much more,
Watching strange phenomena take place,
To realize it’s not so strange.
Turning away from false realities
And again forever focusing the everlasting moment. By moment. By moment,
It never ends, and so I am at peace.
I will ascend when my time has come.
I find the awareness I needed all along.
I am one with the universe.
I’ve found God.
